BABS LUDWICK
Babs Ludwick is primarily a watercolor artist who enjoys the creative process and is open to exploring a variety of media, including charcoal, acrylic and collage. She lives in Calabash, North Carolina and is a member of Studio 12 at Sunset River Marketplace, the Brunswick Arts Council, the Associated Artists of Southport and the Waterway Art Association. Her motto is, “Do what makes your heart beat”. She earned a Third Place Award at the 2007 Associated Artists of Southport Spring Show; a 2006 Awards of Excellence, 2004 Best in Show, and 2003 Honorable Mention from the Waterway Art Association; and Honorable Mention at the Brunswick Arts Council Show in 2006 and 2004. When she is not painting, Babs enjoys quilting, quilling, and shag dancing with her singer/songwriter husband, Calabash Flash.
