Barbara Karkut is a self-taught watercolor artist.  Barbara's artwork reflects her imagination in creating whimsical beings.  Angels with attitudes, fantasy fish and fanciful mermaids are just a few examples of her work.  Her artwork can be found at Collectors Corner in Shallotte, the Franklin Square Gallery in Southport and at Sette Restaurant in Mt.
